Riverside Night Market is putting an event on CraveZee
This is what that means for a truck trading at it. The dates, the pitch fee and any passport are Riverside Night Market's to set and are not here yet — what follows is the part that is the same at every event, and it is the part people usually want first: what the platform takes.
What we take from your sales
Nothing. No commission, no percentage, no cut of your food and none of your catering. There was a 3% cut once, taken out of the truck's payout, and it was removed on purpose: it sat on top of card processing, so a truck was paying roughly twice over for the same card. Card processing stays exactly what you pay today, to the same processor, and none of it comes to us.
The fee, and who pays it
A customer who orders ahead on their phone pays $2.50 on top of the food. THEY pay it, not you, and only on an order placed through the app. A sale at your window carries no fee at all — including the one where you ring it up and show a code and the customer pays on their own phone, because that customer is standing in your queue like everybody else.
What an app order pays you
$1.00 of that fee is yours, on every app order, at every ticket size. Not a discount on your own money — an extra $1.00 on the order, with no food cost against it. There is no break-even to work out and no large order where the arithmetic quietly turns against you, because there is no percentage at either end.
The same order taken at your window pays you nothing extra and costs you nothing extra. That is the comparison, and it is the same on a coffee and on a catering run.
The customers stay yours
Riverside Night Market gets totals for the event and what each truck took at it — the same statement you can open and check for yourself, from your own dashboard. They never get a person. No name, no phone number and no order history crosses from your truck to them, and the list you build here is yours to export whenever you want it.
The booth fee
If Riverside Night Market charges for a pitch, it reaches you as an invoice on your own roster row: every line itemised, with the cancellation terms on it, and you sign it before any money moves. CraveZee charges Riverside Night Market nothing to collect it and takes none of it — we do not charge anybody for collecting money they were already owed.
NO BOOTH FEE RAISED YET IS NOT THE SAME AS FREE, and this page will never tell you a pitch is free. Until an invoice exists there is nothing to pay; if one is raised you see the whole of it before you agree to it. Your own figure and your own booth are on your roster row, not here — a page anybody with the link can open is the wrong place for what you owe.
After this weekend
None of this stops when the event does. The code at your window, the honest wait quote, the kitchen board and the customer list are yours whether or not you ever trade at another event run by Riverside Night Market. A weekend somebody else mandated is a reasonable way to find that out.
When Riverside Night Market publishes the event, its own page carries the terms — the dates, the pitch fee if there is one, and the passport split if they sell one. This page is the platform half and it does not change.
