Privacy, plainly

CraveZee lets you order from local food businesses and lets them run their business. This page says what that means for your information. It describes what the software actually does — not what privacy pages usually say.

CraveZee is a service operated by Alpha Sales and Distribution, a company registered in the United States. Where this page says “we”, it means them. Anything you want to ask, correct or delete goes to support@cravezee.com, and a person reads it.

The truck you order from keeps its own record of you. Your name, the contact details you gave at checkout, what you ordered and when. That record belongs to them, persists between visits, and is the point of the product — a food business that cannot recognise a regular is one that has to buy the same customer twice from an advertising platform.

It is not shared with other trucks. Each business sees only the people who ordered from them.

• When you order — your name, and the phone number or email you give so we can tell you the food is ready. What you ordered, what it cost, and when.
• If you opt in to nearby alerts — an approximate area, not a precise position, and only after you say yes. It is used to tell you a truck you follow is nearby.
• If you post on the local feed — what you wrote and any photo or video, plus a rough location if you attach one. These are public by design.
• If you email a truck through us — the message, kept on the order so both sides have the record of what was agreed.
• If you run a truck — your business details, and whatever Stripe needs to pay you.

• No advertising trackers. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, nothing of that kind.
• We do not sell your information, and we do not share it between trucks. Your phone number in particular is never sold and never shared with anyone outside CraveZee — it reaches the truck you ordered from, and the gateway that carries the message, and nobody else.
• We never see your card number. That goes to Stripe and never touches our systems.

Running this needs a few specialists. Each sees only what its job requires:

• Stripe — payments. Your card details go straight to them.
• Supabase — where the data is stored.
• Resend — sends our email and receives your replies.
• Twilio — text messages, where a truck uses them.
• OpenStreetMap — map images. Loading a map means your browser contacts them directly, so they see your IP address the way any website you visit would.
• An AI provider— some features (the owner’s assistant, drafting posts, first-pass checks on reported content) send the relevant text to a language model to process. Reported posts are included in that.

Two, both necessary. One keeps you signed in if you have an account. One remembers which card or link brought you here, so we can tell what is working. Neither follows you to other websites, and there is no advertising cookie to decline.

Your device also keeps your own receipts locally so they survive without an account. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Two honest limits. Records of completed orders are kept for accounting and tax, which we are required to do. And where a truck holds its own copy of your customer record, we will pass your request on but they hold that relationship — the same as any shop you have bought from.
