Reporting and takedowns
CraveZee carries posts written by trucks and by the people who eat at them. We do not read them before they appear — a local board that waits for approval is a local board nobody uses. What we do instead is act quickly when something is reported.
- Spam or an advert
- Abusive or harassing
- Untrue about a business
- Unsafe or illegal
- Something else
Those are the exact reasons the report button offers, because a policy listing things the product cannot actually record is a policy nobody can act on.
Use the report control on the post itself. It reaches us with the post attached, which is faster and more accurate than describing it in an email.
Reports are triaged automatically. A post is hidden without a person looking only when the check is at least 90% confident, or once 3separate people have reported it. Everything else waits for a human, because wrongly removing somebody’s genuine account of their lunch is a cost too, and they do not post again.
An account whose posts are removed 3 times after review is banned. That count is of removals a person upheld — not of reports received, which anyone can file about anything.
For copyright, impersonation, or anything requiring a formal notice, write to abuse@cravezee.com.
Include:
- A link to the post, or enough detail to find it
- What is wrong with it, and your relationship to the material
- How to reach you
We aim to respond within 2working days. That window is deliberately modest: one person reads this mailbox, and a promise of “within hours” would be broken the first weekend.
A truck can dispute a post naming them from their own dashboard, which is faster than writing in and gives us the context automatically. Honest criticism of a meal is not removed — a review board that deletes bad reviews is worth nothing to anyone reading it. Untrue claims of fact are a different matter, and that is what the dispute route is for.
support@cravezee.com reaches a person for everything that is not an abuse report.
